Overview

This document will guide you through the steps to book a free demo, try a free trial of CloudLabs VM Labs, and start using the platform. If you want to get some hands-on experience and try out features of the CloudLabs VM labs portal, you can enroll for a Free Trial.

Book a Free Demo

If you want to have a virtual session on CloudLabs VM labs before transitioning to CloudLabs VM labs, you can Book a Free Demo. Provide the required information like time slot, name, and email address for the CloudLabs demo. CloudLabs Team will reach out to you with more details.

Enroll for Free Trial

You can also have hands-on experience on CloudLabs VM labs by enrolling for Free Trial under the About CloudLabs section from here. Provide the required information like First Name, Last Name, Corporate/Institute Email, Company Name and Job Title to experience CloudLabs Free Trial.


After enrolling, you will receive a welcome email from Team CloudLabs with the required details.

Global Lab Settings

Once you get access to the free trial, log in to https://portal.cloudlabs.ai/ to view all the Global Lab Settings (2) of the “CloudLabs Test Drive (1)” tenant.

NOTE: You will only have permission to view the global level settings and will not have any edit permissions. Refer to Global Lab settings to see what options are available.

Create Lab

You can also create labs using the free trial account. You can log in to https://portal.cloudlabs.ai/ and start creating labs to see the experience. For creating labs, refer to the Lab Creation Guide.

NOTE:

  1. You will be able to create only 5 labs with the enabled regions and images that you see in the Global settings of the tenant with your trial account.

  2. You will not be able to set up advanced networking with your trial account.

Manage Labs

Once you create labs, you can manage the labs that were created by you. Follow the links below to manage your labs

NOTE: You can deploy up to 3 instances to your lab.

Student Experience

You can now try out the student experience for the labs you created earlier. You can add a student to the lab or provide the activation code to the student to acquire access to the lab. Refer to the Lab Users Guide for more information about this.
