Azure Pass For Instructors

This document is designed to help you manage the users/resources. If you are new to using the CloudLabs platform and would like to have a 15 minutes onboarding training meeting, please request via psm-cloudlabs@spektrasystems.com

Learner Guide​

It is recommended for instructors to go through the learner’s guide to be comfortable with the learner experience. Please access the learner’s guide on the below link. Please do share this link with learners. Link: https://help.cloudlabs.ai/docs/azure-pass-for-learners

Login to the CloudLabs (Admin Portal)​

Click on the link here to access the walkthrough to Login to CloudLabs Admin Portal.

Get Lab access and Activation code​

The lab access detials are available once you have login to the CloudLabs Admin Portal. In order to access the lab environments, you will need the lab bitly URL and an Activation code. Depending on the kind of lab you have purchased, the details will available as we will discuss below.

For Azure Pass based Labs​

1. After you have access to the CloudLabs Admin Portal, click on On Demand Labs from the left navigation pane.

   

2. You will now see the bitly URL corresponding to the lab you have purchased.

   

   Note: Copy this bitly URL on a seperate document, you will need to use this url to access the labs.

3. Click on the elipsis (1) icon corresponding to the lab and click on Activation code (2)

   

4. Here you will get the Activation code under Name

   

For Azure Pass based labs + Practice test​

1. After you have access to the CloudLabs Admin Portal, click on Lab Cluster from the left navigation pane.

   

2. You will now see the bitly URL corresponding to the lab you have purchased.

   

   Note: Both labs (Azure Pass based and Practice Test) are combined into one Lab CLuster bitly URL. Copy the url on a seperate document as you will need this to access the lab.

3. Click on the elipsis (1) icon corresponding to the lab and click on Manage Activation Codes (2)

   

4. Here you will get the Activation code under Name

   

Managing License​

Once you access the CloudLabs Admin Center portal.

1. Under On Demand Labs (1), click on the ellipsis (2) icon as shown below and click on Manage License (3).

   

2. Click on Add License under the Manage License section.

   

3. Add the following details:

• Expiry Date: Expiration Date of the azure passcode

• Licenses: Add the Azure Pass promo codes (in bulk or individually) as shown in the image

• License Cost: Value of the pass

4. Click on Submit.

Note: Environment duration will be based on the expiration time that was set for the Azure pass subscription
