Global-Level Configuration Limits for Lab Management
The Global Configuration Limits feature introduces a mechanism for Global Admins to enforce maximum allowable values for key lab-level settings. These predefined limits help maintain consistency across labs, prevent resource over-allocation, and support governance at scale. All limit configurations are set at the global level and are applicable across all labs unless explicitly overridden. These limits are enforced when Lab Admins/Co-admins create or modify lab configurations, ensuring that the values they set do not exceed those established by the Global Admin. However, Global Admins retain the ability to override these limits for individual labs if needed.
The following properties are now supported with maximum value settings at the global level:
Maximum Lab Duration (1) (Applies to non-persistent VM labs)
Maximum VM Quota Per User (2)
Maximum Idle Time Limit (3)
Maximum User Disconnect Limit (4)
Maximum User Connect Limit (5)
