Registering and Accessing VM Labs

Prerequisites

  • A CloudLabs portal account. If you do not have one, sign up at portal.cloudlabs.ai. For detailed steps, read Access Labs article.

  • An activation code from the lab creator.

Register for Lab

Lab creator invites you for VM labs by sharing an activation code which is redeemable at CloudLabs portal. Follow the following steps to register for the lab using the activation code:

  1. Sign up and log in to the CloudLabs Portal.

  2. Navigate to the redeem code section.

  3. Enter the received activation code and click on redeem.

  4. You will be registered for the lab and redirected to the My VM Labs section.

Access the Lab

Once registered for the lab, you can see the lab in the My VM Labs section with the lab title, operating system, and lab status.

  1. Once registered, find your lab under My VM Labs, with details like the lab title and status.

  2. Use the Launch button to set up your VM. This is a one-time setup.

  3. Start your VM using the Start button, then connect.

  4. After use, close the VM connection and stop the VM to manage costs.
