How to add a video to a course

Overview​

The objective of this document is to know how we can add video to the courses, which will be accessed through the CloudLabs Portal.

Follow the below steps to get started: -

Navigate to https://admin.cloudlabs.ai/ and login to the CloudLabs Admin Center, or follow this detailed guide click here

1. If you have access to more than one tenant, choose the appropriate one from the drop-down menu in the top right corner.

2. Click on On Demand Labs from the left navigation pane.

3. Click on the Edit button available under Actions.

4. Scroll down to the following fields mentioned below to add a video file to On Demand Lab and fill in the required details. Refer to the explanation below if you need help understanding the usage of each field.

• Video: In this field, paste the video link. A video link can be added using this option.

• Usage Purpose: This is an optional field. Users need to select Lecture or None.

• Video Approval: This is an optional field where we can specify the approval method for accessing the video.

5. Scroll to the top and copy the Unique CLID (Unique CloudLabs ID) and save it in Notepad to use for upcoming steps.

6. Click on Submit to save the configured changes.

7. Click on Courses (2) from the left navigation pane and select the course.

8. Click on the Settings (3) button under Actions.

9. Modify the Course Content Section having clid parameter in JSON format, which we need to replace with clid parameter(0c203793-4121-4b34-aaee-cf07ec42d3fd) which we saved in step 5.

10. The course is now mapped with the video link that we provided in the On Demand Lab in Step 4.

To access the course video file, simply log in to https://portal.cloudlabs.ai/

Note: You may have a different or custom portal; you can access the video file by logging in to that portal.

11. Navigate to the Courses section from the top menu and click on the Play button to play the video content.
