Guided labs are specialized learning environments that are crafted to help users acquire and enhance their skills in Microsoft Cloud technologies and to be project ready.
What does a guided lab environment include?
Pre-provisioned Entra ID user account.
Pre-deployed virtual machine and Azure resources
Tailored step by step instructions guide
Smaller modules centered around specific topics
Secure and independent environment experience with custom RBAC and policy
Fixed time-bound duration of the lab environments.
Single or multiple labs launch attempts.
How to access your Sandbox environment?
Open any web browser.
In the search bar, enter https://ms-sandbox.cloudlabs.ai/
Click on the Login/Sign Up button to sign up for the Sandbox Portal.
Click on the Sign up now button.
Enter your work email in the Email address field and click on Send Verification code.
Copy the code from received email, paste it in verification code field and click Verify code.
Note: Check the spam/junk folder, if you don't see the verification code email.
Fill in the required fields as below:
Select your preferred password, repeat the same password in Confirm New Password.
Note:- You can enter any password; it doesn’t need to be the same as your work account.
Enter the Display Name, First Name, Last Name
Check the box for Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Click Create, you will be redirected to login page again.
From the Login page, Click on Login/Sign up.
Enter the Email address and Password and Click on Sign in.
How to Redeem a Voucher?
Once you’re successfully Signed in to portal. Click on Redeem Code and enter the Activation code/voucher as provided and click on Redeem.
Click on Go To Courses.
Click on Get Started to start the course.
Note: If you are not ready to launch the lab yet, you can just launch the preview of the lab by clicking on Preview.
Important Considerations before getting started
Note the duration of the lab.
Note the number of attempts available.
Launch the lab, only if you have the required duration available in your schedule.
The duration of the lab cannot be paused, extended or stopped.
The available number of attempts cannot be extended.
Click on the Launch to start the guided lab environment.
Click on Launch.
Provisioning of Sandbox Environment:
Once you click on Launch, the environment deployment will initiate. Deployment time is displayed on the lab deployment page.
You will enter the lab interface, from this point, you can start following the instructions from the lab guide.
You can find the Cloud login information on the environment tab within the lab interface.
Navigate to Scorecard
Navigate to My Learning homepage and Click on Your Rank to view the Leaderboard.
You can view your score and ranking on the Leaderboard.
Click on More Details to learn more about your progress.

Can I access the Sandbox portal from any device?
Yes, you can access the Sandbox portal from any device with an internet connection and a web browser.
Can I access my personal email address for login?
No, you are recommended to use your work account only to login into sandbox portal.
What should I do if I have questions or problems?
You can click on the ‘Support’ icon in the CloudLabs portal for additional resources and assistance. Alternatively, you can contact cloudlabs-support@spektrasystems.com for further support.
What happens if the guided lab deployment time takes longer than expected?
If the deployment time is taking longer than expected, please reach out to Support for assistance.
How can I validate my lab work?
Validate your lab work by navigating to the ‘Validation’ tab in your lab environment and clicking on the ‘Validate’ button after completing each task.
How can I access the leaderboard?
You can access the leaderboard by clicking on the ‘Rank’ tab in the CloudLabs portal.
Why is the leaderboard important for users?
The leaderboard allows users to see their progress compared to others who have taken the same course or lab and encourages healthy competition to increase motivation to complete modules and labs.
