Registering and Accessing VM Labs

Overview

In this tutorial, you learn how to launch and connect to time-bound (self-paced) VM Labs post getting an email invite from the organizer.

Prerequisites

• A CloudLabs portal account. If you do not have one, sign up at portal.cloudlabs.ai.

• An email invite for the lab from the lab organizer.

Register for Lab

Before accessing the labs:

1. Sign up and log in to the CloudLabs Portal.

2. Navigate to the redeem code section.

   

3. Enter the received activation code and click redeem.

   

4. You will be registered for the lab and redirected to the My VM Labs section.

Access and Manage the Lab

Once registered for the lab, you can see the lab in the My VM Labs section, with the lab title, operating system, and lab status.

1. Once registered, find your lab under My VM Labs, with details like the lab title and status.

2. Use the Launch button to set up your VM. This is a one-time setup.

   

3. Start your VM using the Start button, then click on Connect with Lab.

   

4. Close the VM connection and stop the VM to manage costs.
